I am posting this all over the place. This is the absolute, best and clearest by the numbers explanation of how we’re getting screwed by the healthcare system. We pay far more than any other country and get far less.
I worked at one of the largest PBMs (Pharmacy Benefit Managers) and I honestly couldn’t believe what I heard in meetings when they talked about patient access to drugs. They literally applauded denying access using the cover of ‘cost saving’. Not even trying to hide it.
