See the little nubby thing on top of the spigot but below the handle? That should pull up and swap the water from the faucet to the shower head.

Pull the handle upwards.

Moving sidewards makes it colder/warmer.

And pulling the small know the water is running guides the water to the shower…

Pull that little stubby bit up once the water is running and at a temperature you like, once you turn the shower off the pressure drop will make it go back down into tap mode.

Where did you buy that entire spout system? My bathtub only has a spout to make it so that I can only take baths, but I want to shower in there.

Have you tried setting it on “w” for wumbo?

Title: Troubleshooting Your Shower: How to Resolve Issues with Water Coming Out of the Tap Instead of the Showerhead

Introduction

A sudden interruption in the smooth functioning of your shower can be quite frustrating. If you notice that the water is not coming out of the showerhead but instead from the tap when you turn the handle, you’re probably eager to find a quick solution to get your shower working normally again. Fortunately, we’re here to guide you through the common reasons and easy fixes that may be causing this issue. Keep reading to find out what could be behind your problem and how you can fix it.

What are the possible causes of this problem?

1. Incorrect Handle Installation: This could be a simple but critical oversight. Check to ensure that the shower handle has been installed correctly and tightened sufficiently. If not, proceed to adjust and retighten it. You should feel a clear improvement immediately.

2. Wrong Mixing Valve: Chances are that the issue could stem from a damaged, misplaced, or obstructed mixing valve. Your first action should be to switch the mixing valve so the desired water temperature from both handles can be determined at all times. Don’t neglect cleaning and inspecting for potential blockages

3. Clogged Drain Pipe or Showerhead Jets: Although this might appear related, the issue has some distinct causes. Examine and clean the entire area within the shower or your faucet. Check pipes leading towards the shower’s draining points and the spray tips by running a strong light throughout. If something isn’t flowing properly inside that blocked drain pipe might block other parts of shower operation to get it operational
