You know, it’d be another kind of irony/funny, if insurance claims adjusters, when working on a claim, fault the very politicians whose fault it is bc of lack of protection of assets, increased risks due to policy/law put in place by them. etc. if insurance went after the government, holding them responsible for adverse risk, I’m sure stuff would change ASAP!!
Unfortunately, in the real world, insurance wouldn’t do that bc they pay/lobby politicians to keep making them money, and as long as nobody holds insurance companies accountable for their fiduciary responsibilities to policyholders, both gov and insurance make off with the rest of the country’s money!!

Okay but they did reduce the L.A. fire departments’ budget this fiscal year. They say it was to reduce bloat by removing vacant positions, but if that were truly the case then why would they not reappropriate that money around the department instead of a flat budget reduction?
Also why can’t our politicians stop hurricanes and tornadoes too?
Maybe that 100 million funding increase for the LAACAB should not have been carved from all the needed social programs eh?
