I think the 6th finger is actually just the dangling skin / decay from the 5th finger bone. The pinky finger is clearly a different colour than the other 4 indicating bone?
You can see 4 fingers below the 4 that are raised. This is just the skin falling off the hand. It looks like 6 fingers because only the “extra” pinky is making a clear silhouette.

I doubt it’s AI, looking over the rest of the image I found not one mistake, so many high detailed bits of fur and hair and get I couldn’t find a single instances of hairs blending together or fusing into fur, personally looking at the base of the 5th and 6th fingers it looks to me like the skin of the pinky is falling away from the bone because something green-ish is in front of the 5th finger but attached to the hand.
