in between seducing a couple of teeny boppers and his idle wanderings through London’s hippie scene, a mod photographer (David Hemming) shoots a couple strolling in a park and, upon developing and blowing up the images, is convinced that he has eavesdropped on a murder; or has he? What ever one might think of the existentialist/absurdist core of this movie, there is little room (i.m.o.) to dispute director Antonioni’s achievement in creating a film of unimaginably brilliant visual style and mood.
