After watching Republican senators gargle Pete Hegseth’s balls during his confirmation hearing yesterday, congratulating him for being a self-proclaimed Jesus freak and saying they were embarrassed that Democratic senators had been so hostile to him (by asking him valid questions about his long history as a drunk, a serial sexual abuser and a moron), there’s no doubt Pam Bondi will be confirmed as AG.

After all, Republicans celebrate blatant corruption and influence peddling so long as it’s done by other Republicans. Pam Bondi getting paid $1.4 million a year is chump change compared to the $25 million in fees Jared Kushner’s lame private equity firm gets paid each year by Saudi Arabia at the direction of its tyrannical ruler Mohammed Bin Salman. So what if Kushner is a bad investor? A $2 billion investment by the Saudis in his private equity firm and a $25 million check handed to him every year to make shitty investments is a small price to pay to win Trump’s everlasting loyalty. Republicans have no problem with that and instead spent the last four years painting Biden as the most corrupt President in history because Hunter got paid $1 million a year to sit on Burisma’s board of directors. Jared Kushner wouldn’t even get out of bed for that laughable sum.

The problem with all of these confirmation hearings is that there are ZERO repercussions when they lie. The Supreme Court is a perfect example of this.

If the Dems could do more to stop this nonsense, then they should, but making sure that everyone is on the same page re the nominees and they’re incompetence is important and should be shoved into the faces of Trump voters without mercy.
