they should just made a bot mode for people who wanna do their challenges and dip

They should give people the option to play with bots enabled or wait a little longer to play without bots.

50-70 is fucking riddiclous. The game averages like 400,000+ people at once thats 4000 entirely player games ON AVERAGE. It should be like 5 at most per match

I’m kinda getting worried over the fact that the longer Fortnite has been out, people don’t seem to enjoy it as much unless they’re actually winning the round.

I remember in the older Fortnite seasons there would be times I’ve won literally zero games, but was still enjoying myself. But the state of the subreddit and my own personal friend group who gets actively mad by not winning is kinda convincing me why Fortnite had relied on bots for years now, and that kinda sucks who play video games to have fun.

it’s simple man if you got low SBMM give them bots, if you have even just a decent SBMM get rid of them entirely

God damn it, I got so many funny interactions in OG, it reminded me of when the game came out- big issue with bots is they don’t have human emotions which just leads to bland fights and ZERO interaction, fortnite has 1000s of emotes being able to just break it down midfight and then resume fighting has always been so funny to me but when it’s against bots what’s the point, they won’t emote back, they won’t care that I emoted, what’s the point of the emotes!

Its already a rare occurrence because 99% of the playerbase just wants to win (and obviously that’s okay and I don’t care when a player decides to kill me instead of joining in on the goofing around)

But bots don’t make a choice they just, shoot. No reaction. it’s boring.

OG without bots was the most fun I’ve had on Fortnite in years. 

All the crybabies officially ruined the OG experience they were begging for. Not even talking about the sweats, but I was having so much fun playing the game yesterday fighting only real people.

DAMN IT. Did I get destroyed yesterday and haven’t gotten a win YES. DO I WANT BOTS HELL NO. It takes away any sense of accomplishment when you win. I’m so sad. What the hell man

Maaaaan I’ve been scared for my life in every match in OG. I have yet to get a win because everyone is so good and I felt like I was back in 2017 like my good old days of Fortnite. I hope they figure something out to satisfy everyone, but I’d rather there be no bots in OG.

Yesterday (og launch) was the most fun I’ve ever had in fortnite… for the sole reason that I knew for sure that every player I saw was a real, intelligent human being who i’d have to outwit or outskill to defeat, and not just a lombotized bullet sponge

Sigh once I get levelled up I’m uninstalling Fortnite.

I’m ok with AI enemies but not AI enemies that look like players and have randomly generated names

Everyone, including you, will have a skill issues when players far outnumber your skill set and dominate the game you are in. This is especially difficult when said players are also toxic. These “try hards” cause more harm to the game than bots in my opinion. I think bots may even help to even the playing field.

Let me give you an example. When these type of players note that you your team was killed and know you are now solo and literally stalk you across the entire map, losing some of their own players in storm, taking vehicles going over mountains just to kill you? One kill? It makes one wonder about their knowledge of strategy or goals? Do they care about winning the game? I think that bots may help decrease some of this? However I don’t have the stats or data one way or the other. I can only speak to my own personal experiences.

I think FN has tried to be fair with many of these concerns and matching is always a challenge. I think there is a greater issue now of toxic players than bots. I don’t think it’s a skill issue as such, except when there seems to be a game filled with players that look like they have completed global championships playing with average or less than average players.

Since you brought up my personal skill set, I will say I have had a lot of success just playing fairly without bullying others unfairly and bots in my opinion didn’t affect my game. I am certainly not the best player in Fortnite. I had 100 crowns for two seasons in a row but took a break from FN for 10 months due to personal reasons. When I came back recently I could not believe how many try hards I have in my lobbies. Not just great players, but skilled players who seem very toxic and just want kills and drama and frankly I don’t think they care about the game – just kills.I like to win so tend to be more strategy based rather than worrying about how many kills I have.

When players no longer care about the game that’s what ruins the game for me. I admire players who have worked hard to develop great skill sets. I have no problem losing to those players. What I don’t admire is when someone stalks me as a solo after my team died and literally their entire squad goes through storms some dying in the storm, but still they continue over mountains, grab vehicles just to kill me? Seems a bit excessive for 1 kill? This seems to happen far more than I ever remember? So bots for me do not seem to be the problem. Players like this are definitely ruining the game.

I was gone all day. So you mean to tell me they added bots to og? If so goddamm at least I was able to play 1 day. Of course they add this shit while I’m out for a music festival.
