This is such a bittersweet photo. You can tell there is so much love there despite Bruce’s heartbreaking diagnosis. I hope they’re able to really cherish these memories with the time they have left with him.

My wife was diagnosed in 2015 with [FTD/PPA](https://www.theaftd.org/what-is-ftd/primary-progressive-aphasia/)
from what I can tell, this is the variant that Bruce Willis has. What I’ve seen of him is very similar to how my wife looked a few years ago. It’s a fucked up disease, worse than Alzheimer’s because they remember who they are.
Anyone else have a tear in their eye? So absolutely sad.

My mother in law was diagnosed with the same illness about a year after he was. It’s been tough watching her follow the same quick decline.

This is the most wholesome plot twist to a Die Hard movie I’ve ever seen. Talk about a *Die Hard* family dynamic these three look like they can save Christmas, too! Bruce Willis and family are the true meaning of holiday goals.
