Gas? Like what is made from oil?
Oil? Like what makes plastic
Plastic? Like what composes 99% of my tesla?
Battery? Like the one that has a carbon footprint larger than the lifespan of the vehicle?
Meanwhile they probably charged their cars from an original generator source that uses fossil fuels at least partly still.
Didn’t really do anything but shift the carbon generation from their car to public energy sources.

I drove 2000km in 22hours. Can you do the same Tesla?
Tesla: Takes hours to charge.
Regular cars: Takes 5-10 minutes for a full tank.
Unless you charge the car using strictly wind or solar it’s just pretend.
Since everybody is again spreading the misconception that apparently all our energy comes from oil and gas:
The German energy mix for example is about [40% renewables](https://ember-energy.org/countries-and-regions/germany/). In the US, about [40% come from nuclear and renewables](https://www.eia.gov/tools/faqs/faq.php?id=427&t=3).
So yeah complaints about slow charging are valid, but the argument that electric cars essentially drive on coal is incorrect.

Before getting a plate like that, maybe look up how your batteries are made and how the electricity is generated… probably not solar lol
