If you sort by controversial all time most of the posts are more of a r/faceplam than the top posts all time they just don’t agree with the politics of the sub

Reddit’s VP of Communications is a radical left-wing activist. There’s likely heavy pressure from the top to politicize as much of the site as they can.
It’s a very toxic group these days.
