I’ve scrolled more post hating chill guy meme than the meme itself
It’s not the worst, I guess, but the way they overuse it… lol
I think it is by far the most boring meme format I have ever seen. There have been more brain rotten ones, but this one is completely unentertaining. It’s often saying stuff that isn’t true either. “Someone says I’m mean, but I’m just a chill guy that likes to bully people sometimes”. With that kind of mindset being very often used with this format, it is offering an excuse to be toxic and mean; supporting bullying.
Don’t blame the meme, blame the users with a serious lack of imagination, pretending the picture holds all the weight of the “joke”.
They just write “drinking coffee because life is grain of salt” of some shit and pretend the dog will bring them millions of likes because “so me”.
Half the meme posts seem like they’re trying to get you to buy the chillguy crypto. One big ad.

My problem with it is 99% of memes get explained through context of a popular character or something or come after something major happens, as where with this meme all those using it just expect people to know who the character is and why him being a chill guy is supposed to be funny.
