So when a normal person has autism, they are just “lazy”, “radicalised by the liberal agenda”, or “have the woke mind virus” and should not be given dispensation for their condition. However, when the wealthiest man in the world does a Nazi salute, suddenly science and autism are real? Fuck off

They’ll use a demonized caricature of autism to justify the anti-vax movement and then turn around and pull this shit as if they care about autistic ppl. Unbelievable.

I’m autistic and I have never ONCE in my life had a “motor mistake” that would cause me to do a nazi salute not once but twice. Maybe it was the ketamine he has been accused of taking.

Watching them trying to gaslight something so blatantly in real time is crazy. The way they’re talking about autism is so incredibly insulting to people who have high functioning autism too(which would be the kind Elon would have). It doesn’t cause you to randomly do nazi salutes.
And it’s not just the salute, he’s endorsed Nazi affiliated parties like the AFD saying they’re “Europe’s last hope”. They went on about Hilary’s emails for years and it worked for them. Don’t let them just brush past this.
> And [I found the hoodie](https://replicatee.co.uk/?p=225) and it just says nazi lives don’t matter. You can literally only have a problem with it if you’re a nazi or a nazi sympathizer.
So all of a sudden these people suddenly care about people with disabilities? Only because it’s their side being targeted now? This shit writes itself…

when Tim Walz’ autistic son dared to cry in public out of pride for his dad’s achievements, he got ridiculed and bombarded with ableist and abusive language by the same types of people who are now defending Muskrat because ‘he’s just a widdle autistic quirky guy who doesn’t know any better!!’ autism only matters to these cultists when their favorite white supremacist nepobaby does something out-of-line. as an autistic person i’m sick and tired of republicans and their bs.

As a fellow autistic man, I can confirm. Even if that is the argument, you might get some grace with that poor excuse for the first one… but then you did it again… AND on top of that, despite video proof of you actually objectively doing it, you don’t apologize even if it was a “genuine mistake”… done twice.
Add to that funding and meddling with the racist right in Europe… 🤔

Was it a “motor mistake” when he very vocally supported the AfD? Was it a “motor mistake” when he brought back all the Nazis who were banned from his shitty social media site? Was it a “motor mistake” when he attended a party full of neo-Nazis? Was it a “motor mistake” when he called people the r-word on his site? Was it a “motor mistake” when he turned his hatred of his own trans daughter into a crusade against trans people? Was it a “motor mistake” when he said Islamophobic things to that same daughter when she was six?
I swear to God, the stretching to make that gesture okay is so extensive these people are going to be able to join Cirque du Soleil before long.

Elon is somehow the most brilliant genius alpha or a severely autistic person who can’t control basic motor skills. Whatever he needs to be for them to defend him. It’s far easier to just call bullshit. He did a nazi salute. Did he mean to do it on national television…probably not but he still did it. That’s not up for debate even though the right is trying to make it that way.

I was diagnosed with autism eight years ago. I do sometimes do or say things that can seem unusual to others, and I do sometimes make strange movements that you could describe as “motor mistakes” without realising I’m doing it.
Brushing aside for a moment the fact that I have never done anything even remotely similar to a nazi salute, let’s focus on the what ifs.
If I *had*, accidentally, due to a motor issue caused by my autism, done something on a public stage that caused people to genuinely think I’d done a nazi salute, you physically could not stop me from apologising. I would be shouting it from the rooftops. I would be mortified.
If his actions alone are not enough for you, his silence should be.
