So when a normal person has autism, they are just “lazy”, “radicalised by the liberal agenda”, or “have the woke mind virus” and should not be given dispensation for their condition. However, when the wealthiest man in the world does a Nazi salute, suddenly science and autism are real? Fuck off
They’ll use a demonized caricature of autism to justify the anti-vax movement and then turn around and pull this shit as if they care about autistic ppl. Unbelievable.
I’m autistic and I have never ONCE in my life had a “motor mistake” that would cause me to do a nazi salute not once but twice. Maybe it was the ketamine he has been accused of taking.
Watching them trying to gaslight something so blatantly in real time is crazy. The way they’re talking about autism is so incredibly insulting to people who have high functioning autism too(which would be the kind Elon would have). It doesn’t cause you to randomly do nazi salutes.
And it’s not just the salute, he’s endorsed Nazi affiliated parties like the AFD saying they’re “Europe’s last hope”. They went on about Hilary’s emails for years and it worked for them. Don’t let them just brush past this.

I have two takes with this.
1) He’s so stupid I’m not sure he ever knows what he’s doing.

That’s so weird. I was diagnosed with autism in December and not once did the doctor ask me if I had a malfunctioning motor movement that cause me to do an involuntary nazi salute.
I was diagnosed with autism eight years ago. I do sometimes do or say things that can seem unusual to others, and I do sometimes make strange movements that you could describe as “motor mistakes” without realising I’m doing it.
Brushing aside for a moment the fact that I have never done anything even remotely similar to a nazi salute, let’s focus on the what ifs.
If I *had*, accidentally, due to a motor issue caused by my autism, done something on a public stage that caused people to genuinely think I’d done a nazi salute, you physically could not stop me from apologising. I would be shouting it from the rooftops. I would be mortified.
If his actions alone are not enough for you, his silence should be.
There is an easy way to not be the target of that hoodie. Just don’t be a Nazi

This hoody is fantastic probably the best hoody they’re so comfortable made by just the best people for only the greatest citizens of our country.
