Just an FYI for all the white knights who eventually trickle in – billionaires aren’t going to save you. You are nothing to them. You are a labor cost, you are easily replaced.
If Elon Musk gets his way and cuts as much from the federal government then you and those around you are out in an easily more precarious position with no safety nets.
The fact I’m even typing this in regard to someone unelected is insane. However oligarchy is not something new to the US and it has always been ran for the benefit of the wealthy, which is why we have billionaires.
We are going to see another colossal transfer of wealth to the upper class. I just don’t know how much worse it can get for working people.

Lawmakers could easily make these taxation loopholes go away and make these billionaIres pay a more substantial amount than what they contribute to society right now.
Yet there are not enough legislative representatives who ever have the courage to make it happen.
There’s really something wrong with this type of democracy. It feels like monopolists and oligarchs could easily own our lawmakers and decide for them.
Let’s hope some group with enough political will and power make a stand before the final stages of capitalism becomes beyond saving!
