The filter of “we don’t want to block timeframe x in the cinema/on the TV channel” is gone and an unlimited amount of movies can be released. So without the first filter it looks like more shitty movies but it’s simply more movies for more different target audiences. Shitty movies always were a thing, but most were pre filtered and that reduced the creative possibilities. You have more pearls now too.
