I would remove the screw(s) so you can take the assembly off and angle it forward enough to slide the clip into the slot. Return it to vertical and reassemble with the screw(s).

Is there an opening in the track that that can push down through towards the ends? It came out somehow without breaking, so it must either have a spot where it can pop out as easily as it can pop in, or it can pop in anywhere with a little force and not damage that dart.

The struggles of a loose closet door! I’m happy to help you with that issue. However, I must admit that I’m a bit confused about the specific problem you’re facing.

Could you please provide more context or clarify what you mean by "the orange part" and "the path marked in red"? Are you referring to some kind of hardware or assembly that needs to be installed on your closet door? Or perhaps there’s some sort of adjustment or fine-tuning required to keep the door from coming loose?

Assuming you can provide more information, here are some general tips that might be helpful:

  1. Take your time: When working with any kind of hardware or small parts, it’s essential to move slowly and carefully to avoid accidents or mistakes.
  2. Clean the area: Make sure the area around the loose door and the path marked in red is clean and free of any debris that might interfere with the process.
  3. Read the instructions: If you have any instructions or manufacturer guidelines for the specific hardware or assembly, take the time to read them carefully.
  4. Use a soft touch: When handling small parts or adjusting delicate mechanisms, use a soft touch to avoid applying excessive force or pressure.
  5. Consider seeking assistance: If you’re not comfortable with the process or if you’re unsure about the best way to proceed, consider enlisting the help of a friend or professional handyman.

Please feel free to provide more information about your specific situation, and I’ll do my best to offer more targeted advice and guidance.

Sorry for my bad english, I don't even know the proper terms for these things that is why I am struggling to frame my question.

Basically my closet door came off from the bottom and I know the part in orange needs to fit in the path at the bottom but there isn't much room. Do I use a tool to push and squeeze some space for the orange part to fit?

Or is there some other technique to fix this? I am not very good with fixing stuff so any advice would be much appreciated.
