It’s very funny but what’s happening here is we keep making the holocaust and its proprietors a joke. We’re softening the public to the impact of the word and making it cute. Laughable.
Every time you see a guy in a certain color baseball cap standing on the street corner drinking a Dr. Pepper… he’s a Nazi, Dr. pepper supplies Nazi beverages, ball caps are Nazi attire… then what happened in history isn’t important, it’s just a punchline of a gag.
Then, being called a Nazi isn’t so upsetting. Being accused of being a Nazi starts to become a badge of honor when the new meaning of “Nazi” is “merely existing can make a mentally unstable college student loose then composure”
The outcome you think you’re getting is getting soft washed away, and all you have left is the punchline
