What did MAGA not understand about “I only need your votes and then I don’t need you”?
If I were a politician (or close friend who counsels a politician), I’d be thinking real hard about what might happen if a big group of MAGA followers got an idea that they’d been double-crossed in this deal. I don’t think the outcome will be pretty.
Dude… what reason did people vote for trump for if he is backtracking on all of his positions before he’s even taken office?

I always felt this was inevitable. In his last term he made a huge deal of “the wall” but never went after big business (agriculture, food processing, construction) that hired the undocumented workers. It was all about money and he never gave a crap.
The only thing that has changed this time is that he is surrounded by big money men who REALLY want their cheap imported labor. He was always going to side with them.
I just love the irony of voting for the guy who will get rid of the illegal immigrants who are “taking our jobs” when they’re actually taking the menial underpaid jobs, but then he encourages us to have more legal immigrants to fill the good jobs. Sigh.
