I need help!!! My husband's blanket has never done this in our dryer before!!! It melted together! How do I fix this and take away the roughness it left behind melting it, I don't even know how this happened

It’s been too hot for it so yeah it did melt together, not much you can do about it. You can use a carpet brush to try and improve it, we’ve done that with moderate success, but it won’t be like new.
