Still got 2 going strong. My 14 y.o. loves using them as well for the “retro” vibes.
I remember buying the 1gb memory stick pro duo for the same price as the PSP.

It’s like cheese, you can listen to outside
I guess I’m older than old because this was after my time and I’ve never directly played with it (although my son has).
I was a late teen (18-19) playing SNES, but even that didn’t grip me. My real nostalgic gaming days are from the early 80s, on my trusty Apple II.
I bought one of those so I could play burnout at work.
