You watch the psyops in action here because this was posted at 5-7AM US time and the first comments are all defending Musk/X. That’s foreign actors starting the conversation at the optimal time to reach the front page. Then by midday, they will all be downvoted and the top comments will be actual U.S. people (and some bots/shills too I’m sure).

But everybody wanted it, it was almost unanimous! Dead subreddits with suddenly thousands of upvotes on these “petitions to ban X” posts and random accounts who never posted on these subs agreeing. Oh yes also comment “removed by reddit” plus a warning for speaking against it.
Nothing suspicious here, just your typical organic majority full of humans. If you think reddit is an echo chamber, it’s time to remove your tin foil hat, because the reality is simply that millions of users all have one and only opinion and this is not statistically improbable at all!

Some subs : “Guys we’re banning Twitter links!”
“But those subs didn’t have them in the first place”
“They’re now banned!”
