The funny thing is that people who say aliens build ancient wonders only think so because they use their modern view of construction. Think of construction equipment. You might think things like bulldozer, cranes, steel, power drills, etc. In ancient times, they had their own equivalents like levers, pulley, ramps, lubricant, rolling logs, craftsmen making the building parts, and good old muscle power and time.
