Conkles Hollow is my *favorite* feature in Hocking Hills! I once hiked the rim trail in the fall at peak leaf peeping. It was simply incredible. We walked out onto a large rock ledge to look over top of the entire forest that looked like a bright sponge painting of dappled color everywhere. The gorge trail is also great, and I believe is now paved for accessibility (please double check before going). For any other visitors I also recommend Ash Cave, Rock House as my other favorites. If you are into it, the X Tour at Hocking Hills Canopy Tours (zip lining) is off he hook!!! It’s a several hours long zip course through the forest, mostly all in the canopy, and about 10-11 zips. I’ve done it multiple times and I’m planning to go back in the spring. This entire area is a gem. Wrap up your day with an incredible meal at Casa Nueva in Athens, always get your burrito baked with the black bean salsa and a side of the verde. 👌
