I wouldn’t fully agree, but to me lyrics are the most important thing in music. I also don’t really play with music on in video games, or if I do it’s really quite.
My friend is a complete opposite he likes the instrumental then lyrics. He plays music full blast etc.
Just different tastes though I strongly disagree on “no point” part of that statement.

I feel like most people don’t have taste in music at all, the lyrics says something they like, they like the song; they know it’s from a famous singer, they like the song; or just everyone around them are listening to it, they like the song, even when the writing of the song is complete shit
