I mean, in their defense, funko pops are all just basically the same simplified chibi design in like a million flavors
even if you dont like any of these, dont pretend to not see that all these anime figures has more bang for buck in terms of quality and variety.
funko, on the other hand, the image speaks for itself
I mean I don’t want either. But you really cant tell me with a straight face that you can compare the two. One is like a kids hand turkey while the other is like capturing a photo of something. Though there are definitely some good funko pops like the stitch ones you see in every hot topic
I think both of those hobbies are really sad, weird, and lonely. Now, if you’ll excuse me I need to go add another layer of paint to my ~~plastic junk figures, United Kingdom~~ *miniatures war game models*.
C’mon, one is clearly more fapable then the other.

The reason i don’t like Funko Pops is because the same day i discovered them, i also discovered the meaning of the term Harlequin Baby and my brain connected one with the other and i can’t break that connection no matter how hard i try.

Funkos are the collectible toy equivalent of netflix movies, which is to say slop
Anime figurines have a lot more variety and originalityÂ
Plastic junk is plastic junk. It’s just a stupid collectible only interesting for the people liking that specific intellectual property.
I wouldn’t buy the top ones, because they are goddamn ugly.
I wouldn’t buy the bottom ones, because i’m not a friendless virgin loser weeb.
