Brian’s family will be ok and will survive. United health customers on the other hand…

Imagine being such a complete shit head that people cheer when you die. Let that sink in a bit.

That dude sucked and she knows it, that’s why they were separated. And as for the kids, their dad was a piece of shit who caused the death of thousands of people, they will have to deal with that in their own way

If everyone cheers, maybe there’s a good reason for it

Imagine being the one who died to Brian Thompsons AI.

This is all soooooo performative.

I’d take this more seriously if it wasn’t from “fuck your feelings” crowd that thinks Anthony Fauci should be hung on the White House lawn along with literally every democrat who they call pedophiles.

This is what your “owners” do to make sure that lovely culture war they’re pushing doesn’t turn into the class war that Luigi is sparking.

Imagine being someone Brian Thompson ran over while driving drunk

She chose to marry someone that did scummy things for a living and she and her children were enriched by his scumbag behavior. She just never expected he’d have to pay for the things he did. Fuck the whole Thompson family.

famously, no one bad had a family. this changes everything.

Imagine clutching your pearls this hard over the death of an evil man

I do feel bad for the kids

the wife chose that heartless asshole though. So i don’t feel bad for her

I’m not going to say my dad’s outcome would have changed, that he would still be alive.

But fucking UHC denied so much shit after he had a heart attack and surgery last December. The day or two wait while the doctors fixed their denials became a joke between us and his care team.

Fuck that clown and all the stress that shitty system causes.

I laughed when he died.

Imagine being the spouse or parent of someone who died unnecessarily because of the auto deny coverage ai bot he put in place knowing it was flawed and could result in people dieing, but said he didn’t care because of money.

His family is suffering the same as all the (thousands) families of the people he has harmed in various ways, including death thanks to HIS decisions.

Kids are innocent, and everyone should feel bad for them. (On both sides of this).

Apparently Brian and his wife had been separated by this point and he wasn’t living with the family.

Imagine being someone whose family member died because their healthcare was denied by Brian Thompson and his decisions.

Imagine the upper class realizing their actions have consequences.

I feel horrible for his family. But the system needs to change. If that’s how it happens? So be it.

I wonder if Nintendo is seeing an uptick in Luigi related sales.

Fuck Brian and his family. Yeah, I said it. I don’t care. They benefitted directly from a corrupt system that kills millions a year. I hope he suffered while he bled to death. That’s the only way there is justice in this. EAT THE RICH!!!!

I mean these are the folks who when Trevon Martin was murdered dug into his past to go “He was no angel” so fuck them.

Brian’s family will never have to worry about money.. unlike most of us ..

Imagine being someone’s family members who died because the AI incorrectly rejected a claim because it saves them money

Imagine finding out that the house you grew up in, the schools you attended, the vacations you went on, the gifts that you were given, the life that you enjoyed with your parents; all of it was paid for through the purposeful suffering an needless death of others.

Unfortunately, sympathy for that CEO is out of my emotional network.

Every man is guilty of all the good he did not do -Voltaire

Imagine being the family of someone Brian Thompson killed with an algorithm.

I got the line from elsewhere: “Live in a way the millions will not celebrate your murder.”

About “Put into medical debt”: I have personal experience with a life saving procedure that was deemed elective. It WAS covered, but I would have lost my wife if not – likely to suicide if not slowly by the condition.

Just a few days before she was finally financially cleared for surgery, an ER surgeon was recommending they remove her intestines. He gave me his personal number and told me to find a surgeon and if they refused to do it, to have them call him.

Nearly 2 years of bed and bathroom bound at 34yo. She’s working now. Actually, she’s absolutely working her ass off and my kids have their mother back.

So, it’s not about being put into medical debt. I think a lot of people see Brian Thompson as a fucking murderer. Had things gone a different way for me and my wife…..

This was one of those situations that people think don’t happen to them. I certainly never thought this would happen to my family.

Ok so I get that people are finding him attractive and memes can be funny. But if the conversation ends at that, and not continue with the need for universal heath care, then you’re part of the problem.

I’m going to say something very controversial, and maybe even brave: maybe assassinations are not a good thing.

But neither is denying the healthcare of thousands and thousands.

I’m sure united healthcare exec board cheer loudly when record profits roll in.

Kyle Rittenhouse had photo ops with the President. Fuck off.

I can’t condone cheering someone’s death, but i can 100% agreeing with complete indifference and saying oh well. Could have used his powers to make his company money and take care of people. Insurers have the power to bring medical costs down but instead lobby for less regulations and not pay claims.

Imagine how Benito Mussolini’s poor children and family members felt like seeing him and his mistress’ dead bodies strung up on the Piazzale Loreto town square! 😡 /s

I guess she shouldn’t have been married to scumbag.

Superman beats Lex Luthor, but wh a t about his wife and children!?

The life insurance policy will be just fine for them

“But he had a wife and kids!!!”

So did Osama Bin Laden

You have to ask these people _why_ they feel this outrage and sorrow for Thompson’s family. Get to the basic truth of why this singular death is somehow more abhorrent than all those caused by claim denials for the sake of corporate profit.

What about all those families now struggling or missing people this Christmas that could have been helped?

It’s pretty telling when no one but crime stoppers and the feds put up reward money. Some of the richest people that work at one of the richest companies. Didn’t even give a dollar to find his killer.

Imagine being one of Brian Thompson’s many victims who died because he rejected their claim

Imagine defending a company where they’re job is to weasel their way out of paying for something you’ve been paying them for years, and they’ll happily weasel their way out using AI to tell you to fuck off.
