Can somoune explain what happened?

Hundreds of murders in NYC during any given year and none of them get the law enforcement attention given to this guy. Why? He’s rich, powerful, white and represents a class that is more important to people than the average member of the rabble. This was a terrible crime and there’s no excuse for murder even though this guy has the blood of children on his hands, but the amount of police attention it’s getting is unseemly and spits in the face of the families of other murder victims.

Edit: Check out the downvotes. I guess United’s contracted social media team is racking up the billable hours downvoting anything that doesn’t position this guy or the company as God’s gift to America. Gonna have to pull the plug on a few grandmas in their Medicare Advantage plans to cover the extra costs.
