Hi, this is Reddit, we post an exaggerated version of reality.
Realistically.. the people who are making the decisions at this point are not people who are going to be swayed by a demonstration. They’d see it as ‘convenient excuse to lock up opposition’ most likely.
If you’re not an American, then shut your fucking mouth.
Looking at the sorry state of western Europe right now. I’m very happy with the way USA is going.

Demonstrating against what exactly? Against the majority of their fellow citizens that handed a party control of the House, Senate *and* Presidency in a generational landslide victory that provides their leadership with the moral mandate to pursue their electoral promises?

Crying and throwing group temper tantrums only seems to encourage hate and violence. Sometimes just waiting for a house of cards to fall over on its own is more satisfying.

Homie what the hell can we do? The USA is incredibly spread out. The biggest population centers are hundreds of miles apart and most are far from the seat of government. With most people having to work and not having any paid leave, people can’t really go anywhere to protest.
The only thing people can do is organize locally to help their communities. Hopefully we’ll come out of this ok, but the odds are stacked against us with the Nazis in power.
Honestly, sitting here in Denmark, I can’t help, but having so much sympathy for the US. While also being a bit ashamed on their behalf. Hopefully it’s just growing pains, but tbf it’s hard to believe things are moving forward with their precious Asbergers-daddy throwing Nazi Salutes at the flag and all.
