the same thing happened to me when i had thermal nail polish and got my nail caught on a chair! the one finger was warmer than the others from inflammation (i think?)

your cut is infected, wash it out with something antimicrobial. hydrogen peroxide, or rubbing alcohol would be best.

Finger looks a little swollen too? Could be early infection. Maybe have your doctor look at it. My wife needed antibiotics for something similar.
