Live cam feed when???
It takes 3D footage of my entire intestinal tract. I have crohns and the regular endoscopy and colonoscopy can only go so far, so this will show my doctor what’s going on all the way from the tippity top to the tippity bottom. Just like the magic school bus!
For those asking, they don’t retrieve it 😅 I’m wearing a belt and monitor that’s capturing the footage throughout the day. Once it passes (yes through the butt) they say to just flush it.
why do i want to see the footage from this

I watched this in a documentary, it’s a very logical invention.
I did this in November 2023. The liquid diet the day before sucked and the no drinking fluids ~10 hours before popping this sucker in was the weirdest feeling. Speaking of which I’m just glad we don’t have to fish these out of the toilet to get the footage- just wear a weird fanny pack and antenna over your shoulder.
Also- for all you nerds I tried to decode the signal using a hackrf but the camera straight up stops transmitting after 8 hours. I was hoping it would continue transmitting after the 8 hours were up and I could record the signal without risk of interfering with my results… I couldn’t.
But I did find the carrier and the frequency that it was transmitting on. I was able to record some of it but have never been able to decode the signal from it.
Also the diagnosis was pretty crummy. All I know is that I have IBS but I don’t have anything else wrong so that’s good.
They should’ve painted it yellow with small windows.
Those are around 500-600 bucks a piece. I order boxes of them at a clinic once a month. Box cost 5000.
