I don’t know about the US but where I live if you’re getting kept up by the party you have the right to join the party. BYO of course.

As a Mexican, makes me sad how you can tolerate people blasting music at 3AM and celebrate it as if it were “cute” and “awesome”. People have the right to live their lives without having to listen to somebody’s music.
Every weekend at my house in Long Beach. If it’s not the neighbors across the street, it’s the ones next to them.
Bonus points if the kid is asleep on a bed of lined up folding chairs
Do 82% of you not have to work? (Even non-9-5 workers shouldn’t mess up their sleep schedules like this.)
Or not have pets, children, or adult dependents who need to sleep?
Or not have any responsibilities whatsoever that require relative quiet ~2200-0600?

Annoying af bro. The music be so damn loud they can’t even hear each other and you gotta be up at 7am for work.
What pisses me off is when people start their loud party at like 10pm.
Why didn’t you start at 4pm? You still get to have your fun, but it’s not when other people are trying to sleep.
My one year old nephew’s birthday was 80 people drinking the day away.
I know it’s going down when I see the jump house, white tent, tables and chairs being unloaded. My question is, why on a Tuesday? Can’t wait till the weekend?
Honestly, this sounds way more fun than any club. Invite me next time, I’ll bring the tequila.

Our old neighbors. Like twice a month. LIVE mariachi bands were frequent, as were illegal fireworks. Annoying, but sounded like fun!
That happens a lot when family living far away is visiting hahah. The 2 year old needs to sleep and so it happens but all these people came from really far to just cut their fun early haha XD
So the party planners mostly just budgets for all the time of the night that is necessary and whoever feels like staying stays until is 6 of the morning and you have like 6 people that are just not leaving 🤣 and occasionally some even will give more money to the music so they keep going.
Had a neighbor like that and I loved it. They were super friendly and would ALWAYS invite you in and offer food.
Falling asleep on the couch with merengue and salsa playing while cigarette smoke, whiskey, and rum filled the room. All the adults drunk, dancing, laughing and probably doing blow in the bathroom if they got too drunk. Ahhhh the good ol days growing up Hispanic lol

I used to work for my stepdads event rental company back in the day that deployed all over Southern California. I got invited to enjoy parties with people from so many walks of life and I miss these second most. Armenian parties still win
I grew up in south texas. Theyre great. Literally an amazing time every single time. As much as people bash on the music it’s freaking purpose made to keep the mood going and facilitate a good time. And as a white guy who was usually the only white dude at the party i was sometimes sort of elevated to a secondary “man of the hour” status when we were all good and drunk just because i was the only guerro in the room (yard). And as awkward as that sounds it was pretty fuckin great, too. You can make everyone like you just saying what they tell you to say in bad spanish.
Of course they went to bed. Two-year-olds are notorious lightweights
That’s definitely a latino thing. Most of the adults at that party were probably drunk as hell after the kid went to sleep.
Mexican parties do not last till 3am, they last past 6am 🤣
And they welcome you on like family and give you e ough food you won’t need to cook for a week.
And there’s still food and drink
I remember when my wife went down to Mexico for the first time and experienced her first Mexican party. She could absolutely not hang.

I’ve got African neighbors who had a party last year that was so loud and went so late that the cops showed up around 2 to shut them down. I could feel the music in my basement but I wasn’t mad because I had been invited 😂. Their guests’ cars wrapped around 2 entire blocks.

Do yourself a favor – if invited to a quinceañera, go. Get a hotel near the venue.

I’ve worked these parties! I’m a bartender and our Mexican staff would book our party room and I was lucky enough to work them. Didn’t matter what it was, it was a PARTY. And they would make me a plate of the best food and I had a blast!
You really don’t need to attend one. There’s a bunch of cheap beer and that ONE song.
