I’ve been doing pottery at my local community studio and I’m floored by the community. It’s such a nice place to spend time. People give stuff away, bring fruit from their gardens, bring pastries, share glaze recipes, help each other. I live in SoCal where neighbors don’t even speak to one another. Finding an actual community has been just as great as finding pottery.

Well, I can certainly see why! The work is remarkable! Had a similar experience a few weeks ago – sold most everything I made specific to the event, and some older pieces too. Trying to stay humble and aware they won’t all go that well! Congrats!
