I sometimes forget how amazing planet earth really is
Because evolution exists. If horses hadn’t evolved to run away form everything they might have a horn, otherwise it’s less than useless as it would make it easier to get stuck in branches while running away. The giraffe has evolved to reach high up in trees because that were the food is

Whats even more disturbing is that if there were a horse with a horn somewhere on earth everybody would be like “oh thats where all those unicorn drawings came from”

Because pressures existed to drive giraffes to evolve a spotted colouration and a 40-foot neck but pressures did not exist to drive horses to evolve a single horn in the shape of a narwhal tusk in the middle of the forehead.
