And the clutching of pearls when you CALL them racists still makes me laugh.
I’m so sad about this. I know a young couple who just came here from Cuba last year – we met them on a Cuban cruise several years ago before Trump shut it down in his first term. We were so blown away by this couple – young, smart, resourceful, kind and motivated, they desperately wanted to come to the US. The young lady taught herself PERFECT ENGLISH- by watching YouTube videos and American TV. We kept up with them via social media for several years and got word last year year they were able to come to the US with sponsorship from an aunt. Watching them live out their dream here has been so satisfying. My husband and I have said over and over again- “This is exactly what the American immigrant dream can and should be!” We felt proud of them and proud of our country for helping them.
I’m so heartbroken for them and all the others.

Has he made a reasoning to why he is doing this? Are they all criminals now too? He must really want to bolster his deportation numbers because last I checked Biden’s numbers were still higher on average while doing things legally.
Aren’t those groups that primarily voted for him too?

Im listening to the Atlanta braves spring training and just heard an ad from kristin noem thanking trump for securing our borders and telling illegal immigrants to self deport and come back legally. Its all about how we love legal immigrants and only hate the violent drug dealing murderers.
First off, a cabinet member thanking potus and kissing his ass in a publicly funded message is just dear leader shit. Secondly, the ads just a lie as they’re just rounding up whoever and ignoring legal status.
I hate this administration. What they say is meaningless. Its lies and pandering. Nothing they say can be taken as truth or good faith. Its propaganda and nothing else….every single word
If it’s all white it’s allright. I’m glad I can just leave after I’m done here. People who are here, citizens, who made a living and built a home here over decades will have to suffer forever. Every single government that comes, discriminates the non white one way or another. God bless them.

I think there is another layer on top of the racism.
Elon and the rest of the oligarchy know that more workplace automation is incoming. Normalizing moves like this will allow the government to manipulate unemployment rates at will. And the working class will have little reason to oppose automation when unemployment is at unsustainably low levels (because of mass deportations). It’s the next step in the removal of the middle class.
The “right way” just depends on who is in charge at the time. Giving out a shit ton of asylum entries to fill up towns with whatever demographic they choose at the time is legal until the next guy says it isn’t. Not that I support any of this shit either way I’m just sayin.

One immigrant group here makes up the majority of my ex’s current support staff employees.
He’s got 3 Ivy degrees but he’s MAGA, matching red hats with his employee girlfriend and everything.
He’s just convinced he’s made all his money “on his own” and believes Fox News that Democrats are out there to take it from him.
He just texted me “I’m getting your car fixed” even though it’s a mutual asset and I don’t even drive it, our daughter does. And she’s the one that broke it. But that’s how he speaks to me. He’s paying it through our mutual funds because we’re still legally married.
But he’s the one “getting it fixed” because he’s the one that made the appointment.

Riddle me this Batman. My ex and his chick are Trump supporters that live in Miami. She is Puerto Rican. Last year she was talking shit to my husband about being Mexican. Like straight up racist remarks in a call when there was a co-parenting disagreement. My husband and I were confused at her racist attack. It’s sad how some in society believe the policies won’t impact them and it’s specifically for a certain group or demographic.
