My grandpa: Survived the depression, punched Nazis in the face, didn’t have my dad until he was 40, work 65-70 hours a week so he could buy a shitty house in one of the worst neighborhoods in north Philly, and when his son walked out on my mom, he moved her into his house and raised me and my sister like his own kids… Even though he was 74 when I was born. Continued to work full time salvaging scrap metal into his 90s until he got chicken pox which put him in a coma and atrophied his legs to the point where he couldn’t walk for the last 2 years of his life.
I mean… He never needed to tell me I was a disappointment. I always knew I was never going to be able to live up to that shit ๐

Well damn grandpa, I would like to buy a house but your generation took all the good houses and jacked up the prices and even rent.
