Physical always has better image/sound quality, and id consider myself an enthusiast, but I will admit streaming does have its place. I’m not going to drop $20 plus shipping on a movie I know I’ll watch exactly once.

Physical media as a harddrive(NAS) with dowloaded high quality movies – yes.
But buying blu ray, especially when you have to search international markets to find what you want, and having player that has good quality and can play it all, new and old ones – oh my god what a mess.Â

Better in what sense? Cost, general convenience, portability (being able to from anywhere on any device), the quality of sound, the quality of visualization/graphics etc. You need to provide some comparison criteria.
