I’m tired of the false narrative that people that rely on social safety nets are lazy and unskilled. Most people collecting are the elderly, the disabled and the working poor. 🙄
I have a friend who needed food stamps because they escaped an abusive situation and is living with a friend and is struggling to get employment.
They told them randomly that they are canceling their benefits after Trump got elected. Benefits that was only granted for a few months immediately.
What is wrong with this world.
Do they expect people who are able bodied to starve while struggling to get a job?
