As someone with OCD I would be lying if I said I didn’t understand him for that. Sometimes I feel like there is no peace at all in my head. Just near constant intrusive thoughts, compulsions and exhaustion on the worst of days. And to top it off, the disorder gets generalized to be about just cleanliness and being organized, which is only one kind of symptom. Really a cherry on top of it, makes you feel invisible. I wish more people understood how awful it is

That’s not how that works at all. There isn’t one spot or part of the brain responsible for OCD. If there was, we could just surgically remove it for people with severe OCD. The bullet likely just changed his overall brain composition and stopped his OCD. I also can’t imagine why this wouldn’t change other aspects of his personality, like making him less fearful or anxious. But whatever it is, it definitely isn’t what the title says.
