Hey! I’m trying to get out and meet people which i have… the problem is now that I’m extremely paranoid that they might find me really annoying and don’t actually want anything to do with me and the only reason they are talking to me is that they are just humoring me.

Yeah, I needed a serious kick in the butt. And I got it hard. But now everything is better. I have a girlfriend, I play D&D in person, I play Warhammer. I highly recommend social nerdy hobbies. Magic the Gathering, board games, stuff like that.

I’ll let you in on a secret: you’re probably going to meet more fun and interesting people on your favorite online community than you would meet wherever you think you’re going to go IRL. Especially since you’re probably thinking “to the bar” right now.
I love being alone and being an introvert. I chronically was in a relationship for over a decade. Now I fully enjoy being single and my free time to myself. Ya’ll don’t know how good you have it and take your own life just being yours for granted. Once you get stuck in a toxic codependent relationship or one with an ultra clingy person for years.. you will realize how much you miss being free and alone.
