I think he’s always been a dipshit, only with very good PR. I admit I used to like him, too. Only now he finally went full mask-off.
Well, the people that used to love him, are still infatuated with him. Look how many posts there were, pointing out the fact he lied about his gaming skill. Normal people, didn’t watch him play that game, nor did they give a shit. It’s the same people crying over everything he does.
He’s always been that way, though. The first glimpse you get is if you read Rich Dad Poor Dad. They tried really hard not to disparage Elon’s name, but it was painfully obvious that businesses like Paypal succeeded *despite* his best efforts to run them into the ground. How many times was he told to step back from the decision making? 3? 4?
