BEAUTIFUL!! well worth the wait 🙂

patience is indeed a virtue!

Well 6 years, for a mountain moving into the frame, is actually pretty quick ☝🏼🤓

The moon on those photos appears always bigger as I have ever seen it with my own eyes

Six years of waiting, one perfect moment. Amazing!

Hmmm, it’s a little off centre tbh.

Words cannot describe how epic this truly is.

Is this an ad for NordVPN?

Bro shoulda just used AI. What a loser.

And still turned out uncentered, smh

Thats once in a blue moon shot. Perfect

These things are always reported wrong. I’ve worked with cinematographers who, when they first scout a location, will take a few minutes to figure out the exact position of the sun/moon/stars that will be visible through each window at [the time we were scheduled to shoot] on [the day when we were scheduled to shoot]. The first time I saw this – was before portable computers! And he had to do it manually.

This didn’t take 6 years – it took a few minutes to figure out the exact time the photographer needed to be there – which just so happened to be 6 years into the future.

6 years? Or an hour in photoshop!

lol. He used software to figure out when that would occur, and showed up that night. He didn’t bust his ass for six years to make this happen.

Fabulous photo, though.

Don’t tell him he could have googled where and when the moon rises and sets and just showed up that day. I guess “waiting” is the same as “spending time”

Bit blurry

Couldn’t have waited longer for a full moon? Pffft !

What an achievement. Sitting in one spot for six years! Remarkable!

I can take a photo in like 3 secs. Maybe he isn’t a good photographer.

He did not spend six years capturing this photo. He just went about his life until it was time to actually take the photo.

I don’t understand…why wait 6 years? The movement and position of moon is well documented, and it’s very easy to find the day next year when the moon will rise from this position.

Not good enuf

It looks like he used a powerful zoom or telephoto lens to compress the perspective and make it looks like the mountain and the moon are very close to each other

But how is moon sooo big?

Wow some people have some patience. I would never be able to stay at the same spot for 6 years just to take a picture

Should only need 1 night though

Yep, right place and right time and right gear … the photographer did a lot of planning on this.

Outstanding Dude, Nice Work!

Amazing!

The sky looks like batman could be summon anytime.

I’ll go out on a limb and say that, perhaps he also did other things during those six years?

Now they can finally go to the bathroom!

But only part of the moon is lit and that’s uncentered. Guess he’ll have to keep trying.

Surreal image

Worth it

A little to the left…

Cue the Paramount jingle.

Are they making a new Castlevania game or something?

Never understood how the moon can look so big from a distant scope. I mean shouldnt the mountain be bigger? Or if the photographer was nearer, then the moon would look smaller

Jesus could you imagine if it was cloudy?
