Meanwhile JS with anything: Is that a string?

Meanwhile some languages: is that a number? F*** you, Im just gonna assume its an sqrt `byte[] blob[]`

Casting… What is this, Java?

C: 1 means true and 0 means false.

POSIX: 0 means success and 1 means failure.

“Hey program, did you succeed?”

“Yesn’t.”

Pycharm is free my brother.

If you try to cast in a way that’s invalid, you still get a runtime error. Python isn’t Javascript.

Did OP confuse it with JS?

Python won’t even allow “string” + int_variable

Which is permitted in pretty strict C# and C++ (not sure about the latter though)

Hate to break it to you but the Yaris was discontinued in 2020..

Python has casts?

Ah yes, I love my car, the 12.69420

Me: 🥔🥔🥔
Excel: Is that a date?

C when you accidentally cast a char to a long and now have a root shell

The function failed successfully, the reason is someone else’s problem.

yall really just throwing types around huh

Try blocks are a lifesaver in coding! Great advice.
