This is the kind of story that gives me chills. Full circle in the most beautiful way possible
My nephew had cancer and was treated in a local children’s hospital that his mom’s sister works at. His case worker was treated at that hospital for cancer when she was a kid and my nephew’s aunt was her nurse. Small world. My nephew is in his 10th year of remission and is finishing up his doctorate in biomedical engineering to help create more-effective cancer treatments. I wonder who his work will help.
