Metric has always been great.
Imperial is fine for common place. We already use metric in any place it matters to have SI units.

Metric is great small scale, but it gets a bit cumbersome for larger measurements.
But for the majority of day-to-day, metric is at least somewhat intuitive. (A foot is, ye know, a foot, but what the hell is intuitively a meter?) The math is certainly easier.
Well damn. Guess now I gotta throw out my scale and start measuring in bananas and football fields again.
