For a few years now, I’ve been listing my name as “Poindexter McGillicutty” when ordering food for take out (it’s worth the trip for me to hear the name).
Only a couple of nights ago, an employee finally had the nerve to ask whether Poindexter was my real name. Been waiting for this for years. Without missing a beat I said: “Pfft don’t be ridiculous.”

I did something similar but added notes to tell me I’m pretty (preferably in Spanish). When the pizza arrived, my brother in law paid and received the compliment. It was hilarious and one of my favorite memories ever. The driver didn’t just say it once but a few times, just so my bro in law knew it was real. Priceless.

Like 20 years ago, when I was a teen, I ordered glasses off Zenni optical online. In the special request box I annoyingly said to send me a drawing of a happy face. They printed a clip art smiley face and put it in my package 😀 I’ve bought all my glasses from them ever since.
