piracy sites have always had less ads, it’s just those ads are typically popup surprise redirects to “You just won free IPhone 11 Pro”
porn sites (and for some reason speedtest.net) are the ones with stupid amounts of ads
Didn’t they start showing ads on YouTube premium as well recently?
YouTube routinely has porn and scam ads too.

The one I was using recently had it so clicking on the video had a pop-up spawn, but if you quickly went back to the original page and clicked it, it would play normally. AND IT WOULD HAVE NO ADS THE ENTIRE TIME.

It boggles my mind that they play ads on my paused videos on the tv. That just makes me turn off the app not watch ads…
I see alot of add block here but tbh I just memorized which site has the most annoying ads and if they are useful when I pirate ir download mp3s

I think everyone who’s able to register for YT and is NOT able to google (irony) for an ad-blocker, but is also able to register to Reddit and complain about ads deserves all the annoyance they bring to their lifes.

Idk about YouTube but I managed to watch two episodes of creature commandos with about 15 ads. Including pop ups, and just the ones that are on the site

The piracy sites i use have 0 ads while my ublock on yt sometimes shows 1000+ due to how hard yt is trying to display them LOL

Takes more resources to run the biggest video hosting platform.
Odysee and Runble have virtually zero ads. Many famous YouTubers are on there now, but we need more, and more users.
