At this point, both sides of the country as so divided, we might as well. The red states can find out on their own how useful the blue states were for supporting their welfare.

So, because we have a president that doesn’t believe in the fundamental rules that the US was built on, then half the country should leave?
We don’t like that he is consolidating all of these branches of the government under a single branch that he controls, while getting rid of all checks and balances. Meanwhile distracting people with terror stories about illegal immigrants and transgender people, like this is even a factor in our quality of life. FOH
This “if you’re not with me, you’re against me” mindset is ridiculous. The US has always been a safe place for free speech and protest. No one should be comfortable with what we’re becomming.
Except that most of the northern “liberal” states are paying taxes supporting the federal government.
A better choice might be sending some of the loser “conservative” states in the south, who need support from the feds, back to Mexico.
As great as it sounds, I think it would truly start a second American civil war. The powers that be are not gonna let California (which would have the fourth highest GDP in the world if it was an independent country) money get away.
