I hate it when there’s a rich guy explaining his breaking point in his former “hum-drum” life and it’s better than the life you currently have

Just wait for the moment when they grab your wrist and, staring into your eyes, say “And now I pass the curse on to you.”

Hey OP! “POV” means looking out of your eyeballs. Point of view, like a shooter video game.

I remember when I was volunteering in a soup kitchen and I gave a homeless man a plate of food, which he took, then he looked at me and said, “Never go to ITT Tech.”
And I never did.

No matter where you think you’re at in life, you’re always 1 paycheck away from losing everything. People who have never been homeless don’t know what that means.

i’m homeless and my story is so scary when you realize who slippery the slope is. i’m still in a shelter desperately hanging on to my life and sanity. i’m grateful for the people of CA for helping me x
Without support from my family I’d be homeless and hungry too. I am grateful. Thank you for the reminder

I still often think about the old homeless man that hung out in front of my nearby Walgreens that I lived near at the time. I’d buy him snacks or booze, or little things he needed and in return he’d tell me a bunch of dad jokes to make my daughter and I laugh. I really hope he’s ok now, but I know how the world is, so I lie to my daughter that he was able to find a nice home if she ever brings him up.
