When my husband and I started dating, he texted me, “goodnight linda” then fell asleep. I was furious until the next day when he explained “linda” is “beautiful” in Spanish, his native language.
My boyfriend has an imaginary second girlfriend called Mandy who we blame everything on. It started as a joke years ago and over 7 years the lore has expanded. He now has 3 children with Mandy, she is a dinner lady at a local primary school and she’s a violent drunk.
Last month he killed her and buried her in the garden because she was annoying him but I’m trying to revive her because I don’t want the joke to end, it’s very amusing to me everytime he adds a new stupid detail.
The amount of stories of women being mad at their partners because they dreamed something is ASTOUNDING.
I once had a dream where my wife cheated on me. I woke up then remembered I don’t have a wife.

my wife told me about a dream she had, that she refused a proposed threesome between me, her and another woman we only tangentially knew. My wife once said a mans name while sleeping, she talks in her sleep a lot. That was like 7-8 years ago and since then it’s been the name of her “boyfriend” that we joke about.
Of course in the spirit of fair play I came up with a “girlfriend” with a very similar name.
We’ve been known to mess with people, fake arguing about our side-pieces. It’s a lot of fun.
You can make a big deal of something, forget about it, or turn it in to a running joke and laugh about it for years.

I had a dream about my very long term boyfriend cheating on me with a woman named “Maria”. I was sad about the dream, and acted quiet for a whole day, until the next day, where confessed that it was silly of me to be moody about a dream. Same conversation I find out that he was, in fact, cheating on me, and had been for six months. With a woman named Maria.. this was back in 2022, and it shook up my entire life, back then.
I remember once, my girlfriend and I opened some fortune cookies and mine said “He who chases two rabbits will catch neither.”
Later that night, she had a dream that I was cheating on her. She woke me up angrily demanding “Who’s the other rabbit?!”
Linda was the name of the mysterious “other women” my boyfriend was seeing when he did something like misremembered if we dined together at a restaurant or not.

I had a dream about an amazing white hamster called Pipa who would do tricks and come to me when I called her name. Me and my gf mention her all the time.
