Wait? What? I just leave as soon as I can because I miss my pets and my social battery was used up 3 days prior just thinking about attending, I didn’t realize everyone else wanted to go too, i guess now I’m leaving sooner next time.

Hi, thats me, and i don’t feel bad about it at all.
If I’m going to an event I’m not sure I want to stay at, I plant the seed early that I might have to go early. That way I either leave whenever I decide since no one is expecting me to stay long, or i tell the host “fuck my responsibilities I’m having too much fun to go now” and they feel good for throwing a good party. Always go in with an out
