We traded more sensitive tech like touchscreens and waterproof ratings for durability. Plus there’s probably something in there about creating artificial demand for new phones or new screens once cracked

I have had the same smartphone for four or five years at this point, it fell a thousand times and it’s as good as new. It’s sturdy and the rubber case is well made. I feel like a shill but it’s true lol

i remember a point in time when i was with my friends, she got dumped over text and she threw her phone at the wall and it made a hole in the wall, phone was still working perfectly

This litterally happened to me, from the second floor, right on concrete. my phone became a 3 piece ballet.
Not a scratch.
Not a plastic piece missing.
