I feel like we had less problems then

And depending on the type of phone, you might have to replace the ground it fell on.

To Change the SIM-card, I Just smashed my Phone on the Ground 🙂

the times when phones were basically indestructible

Simpler times.

Uhh good days

We traded more sensitive tech like touchscreens and waterproof ratings for durability. Plus there’s probably something in there about creating artificial demand for new phones or new screens once cracked

Yon do realise that those phones still exist? They are also much cheaper than those overpriced pieces of junk most people use nowadays

I have had the same smartphone for four or five years at this point, it fell a thousand times and it’s as good as new. It’s sturdy and the rubber case is well made. I feel like a shill but it’s true lol

Yeah but then Apple and Samsung figured out how much profit there is in gravity.

I feel personally victimized by how accurate this is haha

Nokia 3310 anyone ? <3

But glass and titanium are so pretty. Plastic is trash and gross. We all need IP69 phones.

Yes and that phone lasted lime 10 years lol

Lego phones. Didnt break and you could change the battery

I actually almost died that night.

No way i had a nokia when you dropped one of those the earth would shake

i remember a point in time when i was with my friends, she got dumped over text and she threw her phone at the wall and it made a hole in the wall, phone was still working perfectly

This litterally happened to me, from the second floor, right on concrete. my phone became a 3 piece ballet.

Not a scratch.

Not a plastic piece missing.

Remember when you could take the battery out of your phone?
